A mobile app available in 9 languages that lists the 9 essentials around you with a single tap. It processes Turkey-wide official on-duty pharmacy listings, so it gets it right even at night.
- I ran the whole process on my own, from the idea to the app stores: product concept, interface design, development, server side, store screenshots and copy.
- The home screen surfaces the nine things people look for most in daily life — grocery, pharmacy, bakery, transport, health, ATM, barber and more — sorted by distance from where you are.
- With "Build your own Local9", users can reshape the home screen around their own routine, choosing from extra categories such as shopping malls, parcel offices, restaurants and EV charging stations.
- The transport tab groups taxi stands, metro, buses and airports under a single heading; for categories that can sit outside the city, such as airports, the search radius widens automatically.
- On-duty pharmacies took the most work: official pharmacists' chamber listings from more than 50 provinces are processed automatically every day, addresses are geocoded, and the right pharmacy is shown even after midnight.
- It is available in 9 languages — Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Arabic — so that it works for visitors too.
- React and Capacitor produce both the iOS and Android builds from a single codebase; the app is live on the App Store and Google Play.
