My career and story
My career blends corporate communications and design with emerging technology. I'm an Advertising graduate of Atılım University, and I built a technical foundation on top of that with my Web & Graphic Design specialization from Bilge Adam Academy, which I completed with high honors. I gained my first work experience between 2011 and 2015, during which I was the only individually-certified Google Partners expert in Ankara.
In my professional career — particularly as Corporate Communications Manager at Mesa İmalat — I had the chance to contribute to our brand’s global presence. The international trade fair projects I led design and process management for were recognized by industry authorities with awards in 4 different countries.
In line with my vision of integrating technology into communication processes, I launched an industry-first Augmented Reality (AR) powered catalog and website project. Staying close to emerging technology, I also bring AI tools into my professional workflow — particularly prompt engineering for image and video production.
Alongside this, I built and published a mobile app: Local9. Built with React and Capacitor, available in 9 languages, it processes on-duty pharmacy data in real time — I was involved at every stage of the process, from design to store copy.
Beyond my professional responsibilities, my interest in technology and design also shows up in my hobbies: the Smart Home Automation System I’ve been building since 2019, my 3D printer modeling work, and the pencil-portrait art I’ve practiced on and off since 2005.

2005
Started pencil-portrait art
Began taking commissions through karakalemportre.net, Turkey’s first pencil-portrait commission site, from clients at home and abroad.
2009
Graduated & first career steps
Graduated from Atılım University with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising; the same year, took my first professional steps through public-relations internships at TÜBİTAK (Formula G Solar Car project) and TAV Esenboğa Airport.
2010
Web & Graphic Design Expertise
Completed my Web & Graphic Design specialization at Bilge Adam Academy with high honors.
2011
Elmas İş — Advertising & Graphic Design Director
Joined Elmas İş Jewelry as Director of Advertising and Graphic Design; the same year, earned my Google Partners certification.
2013
Çözüm Eğitim Kurumları — Advertising Manager
Took over as Advertising Manager at Çözüm Eğitim Kurumları, running print and digital advertising end to end.
2014
Google Adwords Expertise
Completed my Google Adwords certification — the only individually-certified Google Partners expert in Ankara at the time.
2015
Atilla Makina — Corporate Communications Director
Became Corporate Communications Director at Atilla Makina, overseeing trade shows, catalogs, web, and production end to end.
2018
Joined Mesa İmalat & first international awards
Joined Mesa İmalat as Corporate Communication Chief in April 2018; the same year, the trade show booths I designed won the “Best Stand Design Award” at BakuBuild (Azerbaijan) and the “Most Effective Stand Award” at KazBuild (Kazakhstan).
2019
Smart Home Automation System
Started building my fully local, cloud-free smart home system — today it has grown to 40+ devices and 17+ automations.
2021
Best Product Presentation — ITECA UZBUILD
Won the best product presentation award at ITECA UZBUILD in Uzbekistan.
2022
Promoted to Deputy Manager, Corporate Communications
Promoted to Deputy Manager of Corporate Communications at Mesa İmalat.
2023
MOSBUILD 2023 & Best Stand Design Award
Led the design and production of a 102 m² booth at MOSBUILD 2023 in Moscow; the same year, won the “Best Stand Design Award” at ITE UZBUILD in Uzbekistan.
2024
AR-enabled catalog & KyrgyzBuild award
Earned my ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification and launched a 224-page, augmented-reality (AR) enabled product catalog. In March 2024, won the “Best Stand” award at KyrgyzBuild in Kyrgyzstan.
2026
Local9 — live on the App Store
Built and published the Local9 mobile app, involved at every stage from concept to store listing.
